Environment
It is important to us here at the farm to protect and enhance the environment we live and work in. We have a network of different habitats across the farm from streams and hedgerows to grassland and ponds.
Biodiversity
Our hedgerow walks explore the biodiversity this unique habitat offers and how it can support the arable fields too. We collect bugs, record plant species and listen out for the sounds.
Soil
The soil is one our most important assets here on the farm. We can dig soil pits to assess the soil type, charm worms and most importantly - get dirty boots!
Grassland
Follow the cow trails across the grassland. We can hunt for dung beetles, spot some of the birds that live alongside the cattle.
