Fact of the day - mutton is the meat from an older sheep, usually over 2 years old.
 
Our mutton comes from our own sheep that have spent their lives grazing a variety of forage, wanting for nothing!
 
The meat is hung for a minimum of 7 days and butchered in our own on-site butchery.
 
It is a delicious and much overlooked meat that is rightfully making a comeback! Full of flavour and packed with iron, it’s perfect for a Sunday roast or in a spicy curry.
